New Year

2025 ended gracefully with good company and a positive outlook. The New Year’s Eve celebration was a nice fire on a cold night with people in the neighborhood. The year ended with a hug, a good omen to quell my recent complaints, and good food. It’s nice to post something positive, and a success that I’m looking forward to the coming year. We wrote our intentions on paper and burned the pages in the fire. And I decided not to share my resolutions this year. There is still much to be desired in my life, but the year begins with a new car and more work opportunities, a definite turning point for my lifestyle. There will be more current photography as I finish organizing my library – I haven’t stopped taking pictures, but I use my phone too much now casually and there’s still a batch of mislabeled originals to fix before I’ll have my process streamlined. This year I’ll finish sorting the old photos, too. Video will get my attention after that and a lot has already happened behind the scenes. So, while I’m still isolated and craving personal, intimate relationships – while last year was left unresolved personally and legally – this year is going to be good. I went home early, energy fading, then when midnight came and the explosions began, I joined in welcoming the New Year.
