I’ve just published the first stable version of the streamer, a custom configuration of Arch Linux ARM for the Raspberry Pi. This is the base image from which I plan to make different versions. It features wireless that works (iwd) and a larger print font for hi-def screens, along with a few applications for managing video streams. This image should work with any 64-bit architecture but is built specifically for the Raspberry Pi 3B+ v1.2 (c) 2015 with an A53 ARMv8 processor. Installing this filesystem REQUIRES manual configuration of the /root partition in boot.txt or it will not boot! This may be fixed in a future release, but suits my purposes for now. Once booted, all the tools necessary to stream a webcam via wifi are available and the filesystem is up to date. This version only provides a command line interface. Further refinements and minor fixes will be in the next update, but this image can be considered stable. Default user:pass is alarm:alarm and root:root.
