I am emailing you from my own server this time, as I’m transferring any personal business to this address and I intend to publish this letter at the same time I send it. In the coming months, I may release all of my emails to law enforcement over the years as I strive to resolve problems that have been ongoing for as long as I’ve lived here in Corvallis. Redundancies are for anyone unfamiliar with my story. And though I doubt you will, I would like an actual emailed reply to this message. This is specifically to the Sheriff, carbon copy to everyone else. I am not aware of any open cases related to me and I have asked every level of law enforcement if there is any legitimate reason that I’m treated like a criminal where I live, that my home is eavesdropped on, my activities tracked, and that I get stalked and harassed in public, too. It’s like I’m on a federal watch list, but none of the federal agencies have acknowledged any interest in me even after I reached out to them. I have a stack of FOIA requests with form letter replies to show this. The invasions of privacy are serious, though, and everything I say is exploited and used against me. The police know this and I think the sheriff has taken part. This is without due process and I have exhausted my resources asking for help from the authorities. I have provided a plethora of reasonable cause to open an investigation on my behalf, shown evidence of crimes against me, and named people of interest. I also don’t believe that I’m the only victim of the group responsible for these crimes and all I have asked for is information so that I can pursue justice. But while there are laws to protect me as a resident and a citizen, law enforcement has ignored this problem and the damages against me are significant. I have been told multiple times that these are only civil issues for which there is no enforcement, or treated like I’m crazy.
I’m very upset. The night I began writing this was not the first night I’d been awake feeling isolated and watched. The first thing I saw was some drug addict slipping out on a bike with no lights. I yelled at him about prowling at 3:30 in the morning, and the following night the the park manager yelled at my house after I went to bed for retaliation, I suppose. The invitation to homeless people with substance abuse problems continues here, along with the regular presence of children – in this 55 and over retirement park! But I can’t go for a walk any time of the day or night without being monitored and the group responsible has taken such opportunities to try and frame me for vandalism or theft, reports me as a prowler to anyone who might be concerned, and they lie to keep it going. They’re fear mongers, and in the bigger picture of things they’re really a problem in society. Intentionally.
In my case, the eavesdroppers have been responsible for disrupting many personal relationships, especially with my family, but they have also kept me from getting at least two pieces of land, inheritance from my father, and I believe they have been harboring a child from me for many years. I don’t think anyone understands that the motive of these people is alterior and the constant fear mongering and attacks on my character are serving their purpose, just a long term stall tactic while I grow older and they try to keep control of my resources. They don’t care if I end up dead or in jail. They do what they can to provoke me and they instigate others. I mean, besides slanderous lies and years of harassment, I’ve been robbed and even shot at. I’ve had air let out of my tires, glass bottles put out in front of my vehicle, they’ve tried to run me off the road, and I know the police are aware of the thousands of calls about me, anything these people can think of. I’ve defended myself against one false accusation after another, especially from things twisted out of context from whatever I ‘say’. It’s a tactic to silence me. It’s bad enough they medel with friends and lovers, but they are adamant about gaining control of one’s mind and soul. And again, I am not the only victim of these people, but it’s quite clear they especially don’t like me.
There is a deep irony here. I’ve been sober for thirteen years now and they liked me better when I was drinking myself to death. Apparently, there was some study about mentally ill drug addicts and alcoholics which is why many of us were corralled here. They have no vested interest in my sanity or my sobriety. It’s also likely there’s a significant amount of money along with guns and art at stake, for which I am owed unless they can establish that I’m unfit to manage my own affairs, which they can’t. The history these people have with my family is undoubtedly relevant, but at the crux of my problem is a disagreement over independence versus obedience. We are talking about the landlord, of course, but he believes people are supposed to follow his lead, ask for his guidance, and that they must earn his respect… while I believe in personal sovereignty, manifesting my dreams, and that I’m entitled to as much respect as anyone. But this is more than a theological difference. There have been actual damages from identity theft and fraud, real bullets and real tires, and there is real property on the table. How can law enforcement claim there is no crime against me?
From my back yard I look over at my old back yard, the single wide mobile home I had before moving into this place with my friend. There, in my old place which was fixed up for a Jehovah’s Witness couple, I see everything I wanted to do, as if to say I would have everything I wanted if only I were to join this group of people I consider to be so evil. I talked about doing one thing after another when I lived there and was deterred, told that I should be considerate of whoever might live there in the future and that I shouldn’t make the changes I wanted. A partial list includes putting in a pet door, pouring a cement slab, installing a fence and an awning, all things that are there now, but it’s not just limited to my old place. It’s about whatever I say. When I talked about hiking the Pacific Crest, management moved in a couple training for it, and of course they wanted nothing to do with me. When I talked about getting business cards of some odd shape, or decals for my vehicle, things like this get echoed by someone while I’m deterred by someone else – like, someone will show up with such a business card and another unrelated person will scoff at how passe business cards are these days… this is a benign example which might seem like projection at first, but there is apparently a concerted effort to undo whatever I ‘say’ when considering the regularity of this pattern. This has gone on for many years and there are lots of examples like this. Most recently, I talked about how I need to fix the fence in my back yard and how nice it would be to replace it with a four foot wrought iron upgrade… and my old house down the way then gets that upgrade. Whatever I want gets given to someone else in front of me.
It’s not just psychological harassment (which is more like psychological warfare). I’m complaining about severe violations of privacy. These are taken from things that I say in the privacy of my own home with nobody else around. I think out loud – and I don’t mind telling the eavesdroppers what I think of them, either. The fence, in particular, was from a recent rant about finances and how much I’d like to do, though I can’t afford much. I said (alone), he’s lucky I’m not the kind of person to force the neighbors to pay for half of the fence upgrade – there is a law that allows for this and management has used this to charge people living adjacent to the mobile home park for repairs on the back fence of this property – I added, I should put in a four foot wrought iron, maybe set it in cement, and charge the neighbor half. The house next door was for sale at the time. As of yesterday, there are new residents and they seem nice, but I would never charge my neighbor for something I install, anyway. In fact, I used to do their landscaping for free. But down the way, a new fence. And this is especially ironic since I had to fight management even for the existence of my own fence – police were involved then, too, and there is ample record of the fight over where I was allowed to install it as Ivan, the property manager, was trying to reduce the size of my yard.
One of the differences I have with management is that I believe in venting my frustrations. I should be well known for my amount of self control and part of that is because I find benign outlets for my angst. I’ve never been one to kick the cat, so to speak. But I will hit couch cushions, write fiery letters, or yell at people I’m upset with even if they’re not present. I have disturbed the peace at times, but that’s pretty rare and has only happened regarding serious issues that I first approached diplomatically. In general, it’s good therapy, better than holding things in. It’s not all negative, either. I have positive thoughts and ideas, I express them, and they get exploited while I get deterred. And it’s not all from loud ranting – even a whisper is eavesdropped on and a poignant effort made to let me know that I am being watched constantly. The message clear. You would get everything you want if you were a Jehovah’s Witness. And since I am not loyal to the man who claims that he is Jesus, I’m considered to be part of The World, the enemy. They believe that respect must be earned and that I am to be treated with the utmost of disrespect because I believe God loves me without the need for management’s approval. They’ve called me a sociopath because I won’t give up my worldly belongings as a sign of my faith, and they have no qualms taking from me whatever they think I shouldn’t have. This is not limited to material things but has resulted in theft on multiple occasions. Sunday BBQs, floating the river, playing guitar, trips, girlfriends, holidays… they’ve even tried to keep me from having a vehicle, a job, and my home. There is ample evidence of this, even court records.
Last year was the culmination of three years I spent legally addressing the issues here on the property involving the water alone. Originally, when the JWs started managing this property, people were encouraged to take only five minute showers, 20 minutes once a week, and the same thing for watering your lawn. When residents would not comply, it was management that decided to put the water on a sub metering program and charge for it. The meters that were put in are not rated for outdoor use and not meant for billing. They’re made for leak detection and not accurate metering – but at the same time, the Oregon Revised Statutes were amended to indemnify landlords from being liable for the accuracy of water meters. Now, after more than a decade and running on postage stamp lithium batteries, it is extremely unlikely that all of the meters are still functioning. Plus, the added fees tacked on by management have increased to more than seven times (7X) the original utility fee. This is illegal. There are laws which state that management has to show the facility water bills (what they pay the City) and that they are only allowed to add an additional 10% for themselves. They will not comply. Instead, they lie. After negotiating with management and the owner, we ended up in court where they flat out lied to the judge. The owner claimed he wasn’t the owner. The manager claimed he wasn’t the manager. They even tried to claim that this mobile home park was not Highland View Mobile Estates, which is who I make my rent checks out to. I had a lien against them for over three thousand dollars which they had set aside with these antics, while the whole thing was moved out of Civil Court and they lawyered up. I wrote a letter to the Court which I will probably publish when I update the legal section of my website – I simply cannot afford to go up against an international organization that’s willing to lie, cheat, and steal as an individual, especially when my home is eavesdropped on and my plans regularly disrupted, including getting legal help. And so, I was not paid the money awarded to me by the court and the illegal bills keep coming.
I was raised to believe that government is ordained by God – it’s a Bible verse. I was taught that being a good Christian and a good citizen meant abiding by the laws even if I disagreed, and that any grievances should be turned to the law makers and law enforcers – and there have been very few laws I’ve disrespected. But instead of the money I was owed, I’m harassed with actual logs along the way and, ‘oh, brother, how I did not realize I had a spec in my eye’ muttered nearby sometime that day. These antics, especially the social engineering, are like something out of a psychological horror novel and I know my complaints must sound like some kind of schizophrenic paranoia – but this is actually happening! The pathological nature of this situation actually stems from a Jesus Cult that is hellbent on world domination, no joke. I am not the first person they’ve targeted, and they’ve demonstrated their irreverence for the law in more cases than mine. In fact, they have a long dark history here and were asked to leave by the City for their involvement in a similar situation that resulted in a lawsuit against them for twelve million dollars, and for which they settled out of court for seven million – this is round two with the City, and this property is paying that debt. I suspect fact checkers will find that case to be difficult to search now, anyway. The JWs have a long history of history of significant problems and a long history of cover-ups. Except for recent newsmakers like bombings or some serial killer getting caught, searches for older stories always lead to cases in other Christian denominations while they in fact have a long history of their own serious problems worldwide. Google is not the only one to blame here. The JWs try to ‘erase’ anything that disagrees with them and I can attest from first hand experience that I’ve suffered the most retaliation for saying that I disagree with their dogma… it’s all about what I say, the words, right?
Ok, so here we are in a country in which God We Trust. We hold Freedom of Speech to be a God-given, inalienable right – and it deserves noting that the Bill of Rights was written in order of importance, Freedom of Speech being #1. And we have a written law, through which we’re guaranteed due process, fair and speedy trials, equal treatment, and so on… so, where is the protection from a tyrannical group of seditious people who refuse to follow laws or pay their debts if the law makers and law enforcers take sides with the money and power from their corruption instead of defending the liberty of individuals whose rights are regularly violated? We don’t put up with that from gangs or terrorist organizations. It should be mentioned that terrorists are the ones who refuse to negotiate. And again, I’m not the only victim of this group.
I’ve proven that management is stealing several thousand dollars a month in illegal added fees in our water bill, the functionality of the meters themselves is questionable, and I have reached out to everyone I can.
As this is being sent to more than one party and posted online, this is a follow-up for some. The fake bills still show up in the mail box and I can get evicted if I refuse to pay. There are still egregious violations of privacy in my home and my vehicle, though the vehicle is semi-public to begin with, and I’m still stalked and harassed on a regular basis – and I do mean followed and watched 24 hours a day. Personally, I think it’s impossible to keep track of someone 24/7 but they seem to try. And I am very often being tested or studied, or have to defend myself against some bit of slander or fear mongering. Seriously, even the clothes that I wear are scrutinized for whether they’re too revealing, or if my padded jacket might serve as a silencer for a gun – while the rest of the town clearly does not have a dress code. And don’t even get me started on guns… I have been shot and shot at, had warnings fired outside of my house and out in town, and intentionally intimidated by a few prominently wearing guns. However, the regular thefts at my last place did not stop until I bought guns of my own after reporting to police, management, and the owner who did nothing to solve the problem. I continue to maintain my concealed handgun license, though I believe it was renewed begrudgingly, and to be clear I think it’s my God-given, inalienable Right to Bear Arms – that’s Right #2 which is intended to protect against the same tyranny that would take away Right #1. And obviously, I continue to be outspoken, too.
Now I have heard that management plans on coming around to inspect my plumbing and my drains, including getting up on the roof and checking my gutters. This is a rumor, as I have not been officially informed, but this is unacceptable if any part is true. My land lord is not welcome in my house or on my roof which was replaced just a few years ago. I believe this is based on my ‘saying’ that I determine who who is or is not welcome here, not management. The complaint was that they kept sending someone in monthly to assess my situation in some kind of mental health welfare check, always around the 20th, as well as running off anyone who might offer me social support, especially lovers. I have a BBQ, they say I’m a sociopathic killer trying to poison someone, women get told I might beat them, parents get told I might steal their children, etcetera – this kind of fear mongering is what the JWs feed on, not God’s Lovingkindness. And I think my landlord has had laws changed on a State level in the past revolving around his contention with me, so I wonder about this new inspection regulation, if it’s even legal.
In 2011, I cited the law that said management was responsible for providing security in the park and complained about the ongoing thefts, stalking, and violations of privacy. But nothing changed. The following year, the law was simply no longer part of the Oregon Revised Statutes and my landlord was like, what law? Ha ha ha. On another occasion, because he doesn’t believe in guns, the day after Oregon passed a law requiring trigger locks even on carry concealed handguns, I was provoked by a guy here in the park trying to get me to stand my ground while a JW watched and cheered me on. I stood my ground in that situation but did not have to draw my weapon. It is clear, however, my landlord is both aware of the law and using it against me while refusing to abide by the laws that would serve to protect me. It was the same problem when I cited his responsibility for the water meters, but although the submetering was his idea and he has told me he knows the meters aren’t accurate, Oregon Law now states that landlords aren’t responsible for their accuracy. The law does state that they’re not allowed to add more than 10% to the bill for themselves, but the year the City of Corvallis raised their fees 4%, our fees went up 40% and I’ve proven they’re not in compliance with the law while they continue to steal at least $50k a year from the residents here. Then they go to court and lie about being in charge. So, how do they claim any legal right to access the drains in my home? Does the Sheriff intend to help? Because it will require a badge and legitimate due process to enter my home against my will. And again, I think the plumbing issues are largely just an excuse to come into my home against my will because I have stated so clearly that I am the authority here, not my landlord.
They believe respect must be earned, but I have no respect for my landlord or his followers. I believe trust is earned, and I don’t trust them either. I once watched him lower what appeared to be a recording device down the neighbors sewer access and retrieve it one day later, as if he was trying to eavesdrop through the sinks. He and the people who serve him have done a number of pathologically paranoid things. One woman who identified herself as a federal agent tried to extinguish my third eye with her thumb as she’d been directed to do, another was sent to steal brake cleaner after I commented about my landlords security cameras and how they’re not that secure if a little brake cleaner could fog the plastic lens, also stealing a key that could remove his doorbell since he has the same kind I do (I can no longer change the battery in mine, as a result). And remember, this is about what I say. I joked about a paintball gun I’d picked up at a thrift store, saying I had a CO2 tank and a long air hose, said I was going to modify it to be an automatic weapon for the jeep. Of course, actually doing this might be illegal but he’s trying to police my thoughts – so, someone let all the air out of the tank. One common denominator between these criminally insane people is that they’re all part of the same Jesus Cult that believes in lying, stealing, and cheating, even killing in the Name of God. They believe that if someone thinks about doing something they disagree with it’s the same as actually doing it, while at the same time they enter into denial for the things they actually do. And so, they condemn me for the thoughts they fear I have from words I say, but refuse to be held accountable for their choices. The rest is just vindictiveness.
But the pathological beliefs of the JWs are not within the scope of this email, as this is about Freedom of Speech, Right to Privacy, and who is the authority in my home. While Ivan believes God must be the authority where I live, he also believes he IS God and that I’m supposed to worship him. Seriously. But when called to answer for the choices he makes, suddenly he’s just a humble servant for someone else’s concerns. If it’s not plausible deniability he employs, he simply lies and he’s very good at getting other people to do things for him with his use of reward and punishment. While he’s currently claiming to be retired, I can attest to the fact that he is still very much the manager here, even authorizing and welcoming my new next door neighbor. He has refused mediation, refuses to answer emails, refuses to answer questions I have a legal right to have answered, and he has dismissed all Due Process by refusing to answer for himself in court, or showing me a badge or any identification to establish his legal authority in my private life. Meanwhile, he monitors my internet activity, goes through my trash, interferes with my social activities, and literally tries to police even my bathroom habits… and now he’s concerned about the drains? It should go without saying, this is unacceptable. And again, I think this is based entirely on things I’ve said. He’s obsessed with being worshiped and he imposes himself as the supreme authority in my life against my will. He’s obsessed with water, waste and cost. And he insists on establishing his rule in my home. I think this roof and plumbing inspection is nothing more than simple retaliation for my questioning the quality of the plumbing here in the park. The water was also put on a submetering program because of leaks, not just people who like plants and long showers, and we’re being made to pay for the leaks.
So I’m sending this email to the police because you’ve collected these complaints previously and this is for the record, and I’m sending copies to the housing authority and the water department since I’ve contacted them about these same unresolved issues in the past. Certainly, if there’s anything that can be done to stop the fraud, please help. As usual, you may feel free to pass this email along to anyone you see fit – and this time, it’s getting published, anyway. But this is specifically to the Sheriff here in Benton County. Please make sure a copy gets sent there since they only have an online submission form which makes it difficult to keep a record of the communication for myself. I think you’re all in the same building, anyway. It’s my understanding that the Sheriff makes some determinations about what gets enforced and what doesn’t, and I am asking for a response to this in writing – email is fine, and I surely don’t expect anyone to be as long-winded as I am. There are two things I’d like addressed – the eavesdropping and the water. I’d like to clarify, it has been stated by the Sheriff that the situation between myself and my landlord is only a civil matter, just two people accusing each other of being crazy. But in fact, this is a matter of jurisdiction as the complaint is about violations of privacy. I seriously don’t care if he’s crazy in his place, but this is my place and I do care that he tries to be the thought police, doing what he can to impose his version of morality which I think of as ill, and that he thinks he’s doing God’s Will by trying to make me obedient to him. The eavesdropping is without warrant and due process has not been served. While I’ve heard FBI, they claim there is no open investigation on me, and Ivan has not shown me a badge – so, who’s orders are the Sheriff following to consistently deny me constitutional rights while turning a blind eye to a pattern of fraud and deceit, DHS? Management does not respect personal boundaries, possessions, or relationships, nor have they shown respect for the law, but they do have support from law enforcement to do so. Please explain. As for the water, this has been covered before – according the State’s Attorney, you have the right to enforce every law on the books and that would include Chapter 90 which governs landlord tenant rights in mobile home parks – there are laws against what Ivan Erdman, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Highland View Mobile Estates are doing. They’ll go through your things, even your trash, and they’ll help give away things they don’t think you should have. They eavesdrop on my home with such accuracy that it must be by electronic means and it should not matter if they always have a scapegoat in place – this has gone on for years, the Sheriff is aware of this and helps, and there are laws against it. I get framed for crimes, stalked, and harassed. But even for something as blatant as fraudulent water bills, there is no enforcement. Why? Things have been much, much better in public recently and I credit the Sheriff and the Police both for not further enabling the problems that are still unresolved here, but I don’t think there will be long-term change until justice is served in this situation. It does seem like there have been some changes that have affected me for the better, but there is still reason to believe there are significant violations of privacy, fraud, and identity theft, all the result of religious extremism.
So I’m writing this to complain that the situation here is still ongoing. I’m asking for information about the reason for inspections, studies, or investigations by my landlord, some due process regarding my rights, and somebody needs to put my landlord in his place explaining to him that we residents are not obligated to come to the office and ask how we might serve him while he’s made the common area it into an exclusive clubhouse for his family and followers, refusing to communicate with me even when he has a legal obligation. This is not the first time this has happened. The last time, the excuse was checking for gas leaks. I do not read the monthly newsletter they post on the office door which always asks us to help serve management, and management refuses to email, call, or post a notice before coming into my space. Law enforcement should should advise management that if I find anyone uninvited in my home, I will assume they are armed and dangerous – I will shoot first and ask questions later. I will also be changing the locks again soon, but police should protect my space regardless, not help to invade it. Or, show a badge and cite your cause. I’ll end this overly long email now, but I hope my position is clear. We are dealing with a cult leader who turned the clubhouse into his church and he has the protection and service of uniformed officers who I think actually attend services. The first line of the First Amendment sums it up. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion…” He should be arrested for fraud.
