I knew it wouldn’t last long. The downgrade to make postgresql work and get immich back online has failed yet again with a dependancy of postgresql being upgraded… so the image server is back offline and the greuling upgrade of postgres is unavoidable… I wish I had time to delve into it today, but it’ll have to wait until I have time and headspace. Everything else is working, anyway. This is what I get for procrastinating and trying to do too much much at the same time. What prompted the last update which broke things is that I converted over 11k raw photos to jpg and file operations used up all remaining disk space (82G) causing failures. After conversions were completed and filed moved around – the same 11k raw files removed from the library, immich started having problems reorganizing the database. Obviously, am update was not intended to make things worse. So, the current state of things is that it’s worth taking the time to resurrect the database after upgrading postgres… but not today. I’ll be back to sorting and posting images again soon.
